This simply has to be seen at full size. Anyone who isn't doing that is cheating themselves out of half the brilliance of it. The lighting is so well positioned and controlled to project the brooding mood of the piece and the pose suggests a ruler who had to undergo many trials and make hard decisions to get to this place. Beautiful work, Seth!

What an amazing, epic image! That lighting is exquisite and really captures the solemn shadowy mood of the character. This is straight out of something like Beowolf, Game of Thrones, or the Lord of the Rings! I adore this image..it would look amazing as a poster-size piece of art. And as far as not being "medieval", I highly disagree. This is the type of warrior king much celebrated by bards of that age and besides, this is a fantasy medieval image, not factually medieval. This is better than any historical representation of the art at that time. The middle ages weren't this pretty. :)~ OXOXOXO Jane
