In Europe, if it's called "Old Town" it's dripping with mood and a sometimes spooky character: Prague epitomizes that. It's a gorgeous city, and my second home, even though I have yet to go back, and when you get to Old Town in Prague, it has a particular "spooky" mood that isn't terrifying so much as it's just seems unnaturally old. And so, any place newer that any European "Old Town" will seem less romantic, but I have to say that the western part of Heidelberg looks like it has its own bit of charm and spirit, and romance. I rather like that there are tile roofs, and the shapes of the buildings are quite wonderful.

Das ist echt eine schöne Aufnahme. Von oben wirkt alles wie eine Puppenstube. Ganz schön was los bei euch. Und ich dachte immer, Heidelberg ist nur eine kleine Klitsche. Nehm ich natürlich zurück!
