I love the light on the water in contrast with the darker sky. I feel relaxed just looking at this! Bill and I worked pretty hard on house maintenance last week, and when we were done with everything, we went out to dinner and then wandered down to the beach. I don't know why we don't remember more often how much we both love being there! Something about salt water, especially at dusk, is just the most relaxing, soul-feeding thing I can imagine. We both grew up in small beach towns (on opposite coasts) and it's such a feeling of home. I hope your holiday was filled with peace and renewal.
