Bill it looks like a big pile of snow. Is that where Canada dumps its snow. LOL. Nice shot.

The white blanket shines in the sun and the sky is surprisingly clear. Excellent photo.

What a truly spectacular shot, Bill! A scene like this really makes you feel like just a tiny speck in comparison to nature's bigness... Amazing shot!

That's a lot of snow. I really like the receding layers leading to the main point of interest...

One of my very favourite things about this area: the white peaks surrounding us in wintertime! Absolutely breathtaking capture, Bill!

This is a very interesting photo. Not only is the atmosphere such that it magnifies the distant snow covered mountains, the foreground mountains and hills are all dark, as if in the shadow of something immense. The contrast between the dark and light areas really bring out the whiteness of the distant peaks. Nice shot! Keep up the good work! :-)

That's not Mt. Baker, is it? (I recall a "piece" in the Ottawa Citizen some years back which originated with some fool from Vancouver bitching about waking up every day and seeing Baker in the distance. I felt like writing back and pointing out that "Yes, you are correct. We put it there just to annoy you, you obnoxious twit." If there really is a Supreme Being, this post will make its way to her attention. IF not, Baker is still there going: Neener neener! I'm cool either way.) Nice shot. I really miss the Cascades and the Pacific NorthWest in general.

What a shot! What a blanket of snow...the whole mountain is covered and being from Chicago, I can't imagine an actual mountain being under that. I mean, we get these when Da Mayor and now Da Tyrant shovels the streets in winter. Ah, but this now is clean. I gotta get out that way and see these puppies. Mountains are such cool things. And again, as a Midwesterner I sit back and think: WOW! The land's all bumpy out that way! I love the colors and the idea of mountains moving closer! Do they just walk, or do they just kinda creep up on you? Of course, I guess it depends on the mountain, I suspect at last one of them might casually saunter.
