she has received a box from an admirer, though it is topped with a strange wreath, she resists the temptation to open it, the box looks damaged from age, she waits for time to open it....,

Weird is the perfect category for this, but this has got to be the most amazing 'weird' I've ever laid eyes on =D Total surrealism captured in your fine style, love the clock, the snail's cottage, the flower bleeding it's color down the lady's foot~ This is a trip & a half, Rick =) WOW...is that a grumpy face I'm seeing in the hairy wreath?! Around 1951 a comedy song came out called The Thing.An old box washes up on the shore and when opened, well the impression given is one of comedic horror. This image would have been perfect for it at the time. However it is perfect now, and really outrageous, love it! Outstanding work, Rick!!!!!

NOW this is Modern ART to me. What I do is render my most admired Form. The Female Shape. and try to give her some sort of Place to be??? but this is amazing, creative and hmmmm; you call it weird, I call it Modern ART. Love the textures and blending of styles, the almost Fractal like blending. Excellent work.
