outstanding lighting capture. I seldom capture any because of not know how far away it is and that it can travel horizontal for 5-6 miles

The key is when the Lightning flashes and the thunder claps almost instantly that's the time to get your camera ready! See what direction the flashes are coming from and then keep your finger on the trigger! Besides if you need to duck Ha its Too Late Ha!!
