Very beautiful image Carin. I'm very sorry to hear many of your friends have turned away from you. Please do not take this personally as it is something I see on a daily basis. Many people that seem to get cold towards someone after a diagnosis like yours is because they are scared. They either do not know what to say or often they are forced to face their own mortality. None of these are good reasons for doing what they do, but it is what happens. Enjoy your time all the more with the folks that have shown themselves to be true friends.
