Wow, thanks! :-) I'm glad you all like this. I did work a few hours on it. :-) I wanted to put glass over the girl's face but every glass style I tried distorted the portrait. So I left it glassless. :-) But thank you all, for the lovely comments! I appreciate them so much!!! :-)))

Oh -- forgot to mention...that hair kit is amazingly useful! I cut and pasted and chopped braids to make curls and resized "longs" -- but it was so much fun! :-) And I got the grasp of making a "hair" with hair brushes. That was cool. So I finally got to use the hair kit -- and now I can make use of the brushes I've collected up.

Thank you! :-) That's a nice thing to say -- well, all you guys and gals said nice things, and I thank you again. I'm really glad y'all like this. I thought a touch of blood or a rip might be in order but I hated to ruin the girl's face. :-) Again, all comments sincerely appreciated!

Wow, my kind of stuff, old-fashion but elegant. The hair is quite impressive too. Lovely portrait, Jan!

Thanks! :-))) I did work hard on that hair. MistDragon's Hair Kit taught me a lot about creating hair is PShop though. So it was a learning experience. I'm so glad you all like this. I love old fashioned stuff, too. Anything historic floats my boat. Maybe I'll take my artwork in that direction again. This image seems to have generated positive vibes, so maybe that's my genre. And Jacinthe is an excellent character to place in historic scenes. Like Jane, she is extremely versatile! And she is a joy to work with. :-)
