it came last evening and it was so nervous because of my dogs being excited for supper I only got off two shots and it was flying again

Gotta love these guys. Great photo. Have you caught one and put it in the fridge to slow it down for longer photo shoots? They should eventually warm up and fly off, if you do not end up freezing them.

Goes to show what sometimes appears to be a loss or mis - opportunity is really A perfect gain. Not catching the butterfly still was so perfect. The fluttering action in the perfect lighting brings this so alive and in the moment. Awsome !
