Description
This Apo image reminded me of an old friend, John D. MacDonald,who, besides writing" Cape Fear" also wrote some damn good sci-fi stories. One in particular connects, theme wise, with this image. It was "Ballroom in the Sky", and I read it in Galaxy Magazine in 1958. Needless to say, I was blown away when I met him in 1960. His son and I shared studio space outside Detroit. We bonded with the science fiction stuff, and John bought a drawing of mine, my first sale. So, I dedicate this image to John and to his son, wherever he may be.
I hope they enjoy it!
