Captured 9/3/12, early in the morn, at the back of a nearby school.
I believe this is, or was, some kind of loading platform. I'd be amazed if that mechanism still operates.

Very rusty...this appears to be remanence of some sort of cargo platform lift? It's so rusty, its hard to tell.

Oxidation has almost completely consumed that mechanism; I'm sure if you even touched it it would start to disintegrate completely! Excellent find, Harry, and wonderful captures!
