Description

after church the pastor and his wife took us to this house and some of the people from church went there. They had a lot of food to eat and it was good. The glass you see you would think it is milk but it is rice water which is very good. the bowl you see is a soup made from pig stomach soup. We also had pork and also chicken which is raised right there at that house we went to. not the pig. They got him from somewhere else. We also had octopus mix with a fish as one who like to fish as a hobby. all the food is good. i messed up and put a little too much home made habanero sauce. it was hot. Man told a story of a man who had aids and he went home to die because he was sick . He started to grow the habanero peppers and eating them. He started to get better and one day he went to the doctor to get check and the doctor find no aids in the man. True story as far as we know . It happen in Texas. Habanero pepper is hot in the mouth but do not hurt stomach or hot as it come out of you as waste. Of course we had other drinks like coke and water and other stuff to drink. All was good. two people there could speak English one to get by and another pretty good as he lived in Texas for two years.

the rice water is called Horchata and I like it a lot. looks like they had caldo de pescado. I have never tried it but is popular in Mexico. I would love to eat food in Mexico again, but it is out of the question. my fondness memories include all the delicious food there. far superior to TexMex
