Hi. :)))) How are you today? I am doing extra sweetly . :)))) How was your weekend? I really did nothing all weekend until yesterday. Around one yesterday my mother in law called inviting us over to have roast, potatoes, carrots, and some cornbread. :)) She asked if we would like to come have dinner. I told her I didn't know for sure. A few moments later my husband said you want to go over and eat and I said sure. :))) When we pulled in the driveway my father in law let there dog out so he could come visit us in the driveway. :))) We soon went in and my mother in law was very happy to see us. :)))) We talked for a few minutes and then everyone went to different places in the house so I sneaked off to the backyard bc I saw they had roses in bloom. :)))) I started taking images left and rite. LOL!!! I then heard the back door open and it was my husband, father in law, and son. My husband said there you are. LOL!!! I said did you lose me. LOL!!! While I was still taking images I then saw the guys checking out something near the creek so I asked what are you all looking at. My husband then said the honey bees. The honey bees had made their home in a house my father in law had built for the squirrels. Oh my goodness the house was overflowing with bees. I told my father in law he needed to go into the honey business. LOL!!! The house was so full that the bees were having to land on the outside of the house. It was crazy to see that many bees. LOL!!! After we sat outside a little longer and I shot a few more images we then went inside for dinner. :)))) As I walked to place my camera on the bar I noticed a piece of material laying there. I said what is this. My mother in law said it was for me. When I picked it up and unfolded the material I found that it was an apron with the saying "I'd Rather Read Than Cook". It really means a great deal to me bc my mother in laws mom had made it for her. Her mom passed away a few years ago. It is so extra special to my heart. :))) Thank you Joanne for a most sweet and meaningful gift. :)))))) I asked Joanne a month ago if she had any aprons that she wasn't using and she said yes but I never got one. LOL!!! Things sometime slip our mind don't they. I guess where I was there yesterday she remembered. :))))) My father in law cut one of their roses and brought it to me and I asked may I keep this rose and he said he didn't care. LOL!!! We all then sat and had dinner together. :))) It was really nice setting as a family having dinner on Sunday. :)))) After we all ate we then went back outside and sat until the mosquitos came. :( We then went into their den and we sat, talked, and laughed. :)))) We left their house about 8 lastnite. :)))) I want to say to my family I had a most enjoyable day. :))))) After we got home it was getting close to time for my show "Hell on Wheels" to come on. :)))) From 9p.m.-10p.m. I watched my show and around 11 something I then went to bed. LOL!!! I woke this morning at 5:30 to get my son off to school, and after the bus ran I went back to bed and slept til 9. When I woke I then checked my email, and started reading the book "The Cross Gardener". I had to make myself put the book down so I could get a shower.LOL!!! I love when a book is that good. :))) Now I am here with my friends. :)) How is your day going? I hope it is going very sweetly. :))) I think here in a few I am going to go fry some bacon, and fix breakfast for dinner. :)) Yummy!!! I love having breakfast on a cool day. :))) The temps here have been falling into the 40's at nite. That is too chilly for me. LOL!!! Now the temps during the day have been pleasant with temps in the lower 80's. :)) I do know that during the R&R festival this weekend I will dressing very warmly. LOL!!
