Description

I have a friend of mine who is teaching me how to fly a multicopter FPV (first person view) using videogoggles. When we were flying we met another friend flying a motorized hang glider. We flew the multicopter, a hexacopter, about 1,2km away from where we were standing. It was so far away that we could not see it. Technical data: DJI F550 hexacopter with Wookong controller and GPS module, Immersion RC 600mw 5.8ghz video transmitter , Immersion duo diversity reciever and clowerleaf and helical antenna with antenna tracker and Fatshark video googles. Camera Sony NEX 5. ............CLICK HERE TO SEE THE HEXACOPTER FLIGHT VIDEO..........

Stunning video, really showing the capability of this gear....it must have been a nervous time with all that gear so high and over water...you seem to have an excellent pilot / tutor and I look forward to video with you at the controls.....absolutely marvelous Knut, brilliant...thanks mate.

I'll go for the video after writing this comment. I'll definitely say that the photograph is quite amazing! I love the border we're crossing today: life in the 21st century is actually beginning to resemble the science fictional visions of what life in the 21st century once were! I find that both amazing and a tiny bit disturbing, but that's life for you. This is quite a wonderful, intriguing, and yes, futuristic shot!
