My 1,000th Image Post
I was working on this late last night, not that much but I found it interesting, I love the Dark,
always been more at home in Shadows.
Anyway I had a whole different Title and was writing up a dedication to all who have Influenced me as a Fractalist over these past few years....Then everything Changed
A late night Visitor, my Oldest and Best Friend in this physical world, Michael, a Brother in Arms. As happy as I was to see him I knew immediatly something was very wrong just by his presence. Mike and his Wife of 30 years, Mona, live...Lived in Austin, Mona died last week of a Massive Stroke, here one Moment and Gone the Next. Mike is on his way back to Austin after taking his Wife's body to be burried in the Family Plot in Albuquerque. I was a bit miffed he didn't tell me, I would have been there for him but he's very much like me, his stuff is his stuff to take care of and not anyone elses problem. Mona was a Gem, a first generation Born in America to Naturalized Mexican-American Parents, she had class man. We did NOT get along at first, I thought she was a know it all Snob but Michael said she's not a Snob, she's just so smart it seems that way. He was right, not sure if she grew on me or I grew on her but being we had something in common, Michael. That plus the fact that I was also married at the time to a Mexican-American we became good friends also, as stunned by her passing as I am I know Mike must be devistated although he would never show it. I just hope I can be the kind of friend I think I am and help him through this, talked him into staying a few days, he's on indefinite leave from Bell South, turn in his Rental Car...or not, then get reacquainted with the Desert Southwest, the Land of Mañana. First order of bussiness is a Wake, we need to let the Gods know Mona is on her way to kick ass and take names....

Gorgeous image Len! I'm sorry to hear of your friend's loss. My mother's name was Mona. This story brought back a flood of memories of the hurt when she passed away too.

A beautiful dedication, Len and the fractal design is a fitting tribute. I am very sorry for your friends loss, although I do not know him, I empathize with him. We are all linked on this planet and it is that emotional bond which keeps the Human race together. I thank you for sharing this moment with all of us!!!!!
