Description

Over exposed that is! LOL! Went into "Fern Canyon" a day or two after photographing the fire dancers and left the ISO on 3200. I have enjoyed joining the ranks of the digital age the last couple years, but I do miss being able to look down at a 35mm camera body and see all the settings. Rather than push one of many buttons and rotate one of several dials in search for a menu to make your selection. :~) Fern Canyon is aptly named for it supports five different types of ferns. This lush canyon had several seeps running down 60-70 foot (18-21m) walls covered in thick mosses. It is an easy loop trail hike at just over a mile (2km). To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2366010.jpg

The water cascading down the moss is better seen in full view.

I love the brilliant green. I know what you mean about digital cameras. I held out for years. Still haven't completely figured out the damn thing.
