Lol, the Ferris wheel looks so incogruous with the tower and Parliament. It's a beautiful tower though, and has held up well (it seems). Wonderful image of the tower, Jeff! Looks like a typical day on London streets. What a bustling, busy city.

I'd say from my time in London, the light on the roof, and the length of the shadows......hmmmmmm I'd say you shot this at about 1.35 in the arvo!

Well, I still say, it's a mighty fine building......somewhat trashed (as Prince Charles would agree..), by placing the 'Eye' (?), and that modern thing next it! The MOdern thing of course is where allot of Governmental work is done, not IN The Houses Of Parliament itself.. There History lesson endeth! lol A GREAT SHOT Jeff! Well caught mate! Rob

i loved seeing this in person. i actually walked down that sidewalk. but london was one of the nastiest cities i have ever been too. is it still so. it was all the diesel i think. everytime i went out and came back in and blew my nose all this black stuff came out but it was fun to see all the sites...the changing of the gaurd...did you ask anyone for ice...when i went...years ago that was like a no no...i got ice alright...in a saucer with dirt on it...lol...i can't blame them...i don't really use ice anymore myself now but then i thought everything had to have ice in it that i drink...they did not use ice...great shot from a bus!!! chills and thrills

England swings like a pendulum do, Bobbies on bicycles, two by two, Westminster Abbey the tower of Big Ben, The rosy red cheeks of the little children. Now, if you huff and puff and you fina'lly save enough Money up to take your family on a trip across the sea, Take a tip before you take your trip; let me tell you where to go, Go to Engeland, Oh; Mama's old pajamas and your papa's mustache, Falling out the window sill, frolic in the grass, Tryin' to mock the way they talk fun but all in vain, Gaping at the dapper men with derby hats and canes

A very well planned and executed shot - taken through a bus window, so lucky to get two icons for the prize of one! I am promising myself to come and see them all one day, probably not all in one day ;) BB
