Still loving the feather detail on this shot; is this a youngster? I ask because it seems a bit fluffy for an adult, although I don't know how these go, since our robins are so different here.

Well captured wee robin, David. I've always likes them because my gran's garden had a couple sparring for days, trying to decide whose area it was. I only saw one last year (2011) and that was during the summer. We have lots of seagulls and magpies in Glasgow city itself fighting for urban space with the squirrels and foxes. Unfortunately the deer in the Necropolis, next to Glasgow Cathedral were killed so time back, so we have even less diversity this year. Warm regards from a wintry Glasgow ( aye, we're big on irony here ), John.
