Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

A lovely photo! Ducks are great interbreeders....lots of crosses and mongrels to be found.

Oh, I LOVE how the water looks in this one. The colors you have caught in there are really stunning.

Excellent detail and the colors and contours of the water make a great backdrop.

Not sure if this is a mallard too, I don't see the wing bars; there are lots of ducks that look like this, especially the females and youngsters. What a beautiful capture!
