Description
On a walk I found this rich "colony of Honeysuckles. I was thrilled, as I only see few blooms on the many wild plants we have in this area. Full Size is richer :)

this is so lovely. when I was a child i use to pick them and pull the back off and as the pistons was coming out the back the sweet honey taste drops of water i guess that what is call would come out and i would lick it and it tastes so good. Guess we all did that.

The colors are splendid, as is the light, and I love the fact that some of the blossoms are not in prime condition. This is a perfect photograph because it's not a shot of perfect, well-behaved, polite flowers. These are Real flowers, and if they were people, they might not have shaved or done their hair. That's what I like about finding a subject like unexpected flowers. You captured these perfectly because there's so much life and color in this shot and the colors are what grab me the most. This is brilliant! Isn't it fun to just walk around, photographing things?

I enjoyed seeing these! Brought back memories for me...a lighter, whiter version grew in my own yard and my Dad showed me how to get the "honey" out...I tasted it! :)
