Description
Have not posted from here in a while, some may recall Bear Harbor in the Sinkyone wilderness SP, and some may not. I've provided a link below that will take you back a ways into the gallery where you may pick up a few images from this series.
After a short hike through a temperate woodland following a creek out to the beach. I found myself facing this group of sea stacks from the left of this image and was oblivious to the "leg" until much further down the headland.
Many of these sea stacks provide sanctuary and nesting sites for sea faring birds. Of course some seal may find a temporary sun bathing spot on some of these stacks, but to coin a phrase, "It's for the birds"!
