Description

I don't do "cute" images very well at all. My brain kinda freezes up when I attempt to make a scene and its strange cuz I love kids, have a soft spot for them in my heart and all that. So when I received the new PoseMePrecious pack by lunchlady, this is what I decided. Why not do a "good cause" image for the kids, and adults as well because this is such a horrible disease, for the ones battling cancer? I only had kids in my class that were special needs, and a couple Autistic that I was so VERY privileged to work with as an Ed Tech 1, in fact I miss one specific little autistic girl so much...anyways that was years ago. I see in the news at least once a week local folks doing drives or gathering donations for kids with cancer, this week it was a 3 year old little boy who was diagnosed with leukemia. I tear up mostly because as horrible as a thing that happened to my son Justin in 2008, I am so dam thankful he is still alive and well, though maybe not able to do all the things his friends his age do...but I get to see him every day and KNOW he will be here tomorrow. Some moms don't have that blessing. So this goes out to all the kids and folks who have to fight just to make it through the day! Keep strong and know your not forgotten. Thank you for reading my mini book here. Thank you for the clicks, comments, and fav's on my previous posts also...it means allot to me! :-) Thank you Naomi (lunchlady) for this most awesome and VERY usable pack! I HIGHLY recommend it :-) Used in this image: Val 's - (Godin) - Thalissa Mat and Makeup Val's (Godin) - Noelle Mat and Makeup Na's (lunchlady) - PoseMePrecious poses on both Adam's (Adamthwarts) - MostDigitalCreations freebies Photo Shop post-work Have a GREAT weekend!

Well, Rose - I think you did a magnificent job on this wonderful masterpiece! You are a caring and brave lady with a huge heart - and it comes through in this artwork like the sun breaking through the clouds after a storm. Most brilliant, my dear friend! That looks like a great pose package by your sis, too!

Fine rendering, and more poignant than cute. I contribute a substantial amount to St Jude's Children's Hospital every year, so I know where you're coming from, Rosie.

A staggeringly worthy scene, a worthy cause (very true to my own heart as you know, but not with a child), and it has to be said, I too am not one for for 'fluffy' type images, I freeze as well, I'm more a dark guy, BUT that pack is excellent in detail.. Great work Rosy.. Well done!!!!!! Rob :-)

What a poignant image. Children battling cancer are, to me, examples of real heroes. As adults, we can moan and complain about the silliest things, and you watch a kid going through this, not complaining but just accepting it as what must be done, it really puts things into perspective. Fantastic work here. :)

Wonderful and touching composition, Rose. Ill and dying children is tough. But you capture something fine in this image. Revealing ones feelings can be a difficult trial. Great work.+5

This is such a painful subject Rose because my wife taught Down Syndrome kids for years and we have an Autistic grandson ourselves. It is a cute creation and a horrible disease. Thank you for this posting. God Bless you and Justin!
