Description
Somewhat surprising what you can find in your old files.
Captured 2/6/10, looking into the sun at the back end of an auto, early AM, within the usually congenial confines of my condominium complex.
A color photo, generally unbrightened for the sake of deep contrast.
A ZOOM would be to your benefit.
Farvel, and have a nice day.

Oh, nicely done Harry! The darkness really makes that waterdrop sheen sparkle. Excellent find in those deep files of yours!

If you upload today (it's about 5:45 a.m. where I am), I know you'll be at 2200, which is another milestone. I won't be able to be back here again today, as I've had a big workload the last few weeks, but the soonest I can get here, I will. In the meantime, I wanted to leave at least one comment on the many wonderful images you've put up since I've commented last, and it was a hard choice. Your shot, yesterday, was an amazing piece of b&w work, beautiful, stark, almost apocalyptic. Your leaves of a few days earlier was sheer poetry...I could go on. I chose this only because it hit me between the eyes when I first saw it, and since fall is coming here, and moisture is starting to form everywhere, I decided to comment on this for my one shot this morning. I just love this shot. Full size, it pans out like a great fan. The light is beautiful, it could be day or night, inside or out---it has that much range. And it feels like a magisterial fan of water falls---on a scale somehow much larger than the window. Again, you've shown how you take the simplest sights and make pure photographic poetry out of them. This is just beautiful. And I'm noticing that you're posting a bunch of archived images---you must have a gold mine in that archive. More wonderful studies of process, unfolding, texture, light play, etc. Such wonderful stuff lately. I've looked forward to these when I came home at night. I'll be back, but congratulations on another milestone (today I assume), and I wish you many, many more, Harry. Sorry I'm too early, but I'll get back. A wonderful shot of this window, in the meantime. Hope all is well!
