Volume I - Episode 107 Where: Melbourne, Australia When: 18 days after E-Day, 10:35 am "You're a witch," the boy said. Nikki looked around to make sure nobody had heard. She glanced at Daniel, lying just a couple of metres away. "Clever boy," she said. "But you shouldn't have said that." Tears welled in the boy's eyes. But he said nothing. Nikki turned the gun over in her hands. It had taken only one simple command for the boy to hand it over to her: "Give me the gun." She had never fired a pistol before in her life, but it looked simple enough to operate. The boy was staring at her, waiting. Tears rolled down his cheeks. Nikki gave him a series of quiet, gently-spoken commands, all of which he followed without a moment's hesitation. "Stop crying." "Pull your pants down." "Get on your knees." Nikki pressed the gun against the boy's forehead and gave him one final command: "Say your prayers." "I don't know any prayers," the boy said sadly. There was a loud crack and a flash of flame.
