Description
As I walked past the two large teepees in the last post. This lone scrub oak stood nestled in between. The thick bands on the left teepee are impressively large. Especially since that type of banding is uncommon. The confluence of the flow through both teepees to the scrub oak and the banding prompted another image.
To fully appreciate the flow I urge you to enjoy the full view please.

Without a doubt! Zoomed, it's like walking on an alien world and finding the first signs of life beyond Earth. Extremely cool!

When I look at this I am trying to imagine how many years it took to build up the sediments and then how much more additional it took to wear them down again to this state. Great photography.
