Description
The latest new residents on my bit of the Thames are Cormorants.
They arrived here two or three years back and, though I have seen them on many occasions, I hadn't yet been able to get a good picture of them.
Whilst these are still not the best shots ever, they are the best I've managed so far.
The first one I took was the bottom right one. I spotted this one sunning himself with outstretched wings shortly after going out for my lunchtime walk.
A short while later, another had joined him.
Not sure if they are a pair or just two individuals. I know very little about them as they are such recent arrivals. They are quite magnificent though. :-)

Nice capture........I have been enjoying this weekend watching one of these birds in our pond in Burlington, Massachusetts. Amazing how long they can stay under water fishing.
