Description

I feel so lucky to have been asked to be a beta tester for Lili at C3D. I love her models and I think they have moved my brain to try new things. For me, interiors are a new and difficult thing mainly because of the lighting. I don't know how to properly do interior lighting. For landscapes it's easy, play god, and just move the sun! The drapes, towels, and the draping cloth on the tub are from Lili's new "Drapes" package at C3D. The Peonies and the Orchid are also Lili's models. The potted Palm, Millennium Cat, are from Daz3D, the Great white egrets (there are 2 here) are from Ken Gilliland's SongBird Remix Shorebirds colletion 1. The trees are from Xfrog's Asia Library with some of their tropical Palms thrown in. All the rest of the furniture are all freebies from Achive 3D and Google SketchUp Warehouse The ceiling and the windows are components from Google Sketchup, I modeled the tub (which even I could do) :) Thanks for looking and thanks to all the modelers that offer up their work free or not. Where would we be without you.

Excellent indoor scene. You are right about lighting, very difficult for indoor scenes. Looks like you have done well with lighting on this image. Nice work!

Pretty good my friend. Yes, interiors are much more challenging as far as lighting is concerned. I'm sure you had some fun with this one and little different than what you're used to.

And I would feel so lucky to live here, or even at least opt for a getaway in such a place! Gorgeous details, my Friend! I love the lighting and the shadows on the curtains! Such exquisite layout and taste! Classy and yet not too "done up". Just the right amount to feel at home and safe. Stunning artwork with exceptional realism!

And again such idyllic, dear Patty. All is 'perfect', romantic pure; and the colors are amazing. I just love the cute animals, and that purple of the curtains. You did a great job, also with the light (in my opinion) :).
