Hello, I'll be back again.
As some of you know, I spent a week in Florence and am unfortunately not until a day later arrived home.
We could start from the airport in Florence, because there unfavorable weather conditions prevailed. So we were carted off to a bus to Pisa, where they ignored us for hours. After that we met too late in Munich, where a ban on night flights there. We had no other option than to stay at the airport. Lufthansa said that she could for us because of the exhibition held in Munich do not get hotel rooms. Whoever believes will be saved ...
No matter, except a shattered case I'm still in my home again safely arrived.
At least the weather was wonderful and the museums in Florence were stunning.
Now, in Florence, the city of art, I got a few new ideas, but not from a museum, but from a poster shop, I ventured to the painting by Francesco Hayez. This painting appeals to me ...

Nice pose..does look like you were inspired. Spent 2 days in Pisa in 1971 and had a wonderful experience of buying an original statue of a mother and child from a carver. What was really wonderful was going to his studio early in the morning complete with marble dust on the floor an inch deep. we were young and my wife was several months Preg. with first child. Alas we parted 10 yrs later and the statue was lost in the transition..but it does bring back memories. Sorry you had problems in your travels..hopefully you can go again some day.

You never know where the inspiration will come from. Sounds like your trip was great - except for the travelling part. It is a hard time for travelling with all the freaky stuff going on. Glad you're home safe and posting again Elke! Missed you :)

schon mal sehr wichtig,dass du gesund angekommen bist. il bacio war mit das erste wordt was ich gelernt hatte als kind,wir hatten eine italienische familie als nachbarn und die hatten einen wunderschöne tochter ich war verliebt lach (ich war 7-8 jahre alt - früh übt sich der bengel lach)
