Description
‘American Allies’ is a bronze statue created by Lawrence Holofcener in 1992. It shows Franklin D Roosevelt and Winston Churchill having a private chat. The statue is on loan, to the Society of the Four Arts Gardens, Palm Beach, Florida. The photo was taken May 24, 2012 and this garden was behind the wall that had the door to nowhere – posted on September 13th.

That must be one solidly built bench! Can't help but think of how much goes into working with the bronze to create such detail.

Fantastic capture! They look so natural, so real! This reminds me the statue of a man reading that was near the World Trade center, now Ground zero on NY, I think it is no more there, but I,m not sure.

Oh don't let this fool you, it's just two old guys they spay painted with bronze colored paint and payed to sit there. Ten minutes after Dana took this shot they got up and went on break. ;D LOL! Excellent capture Dana! :)
