Description

This is the third time I've recreated this clasic cinema icon. Originally done as an Illustrator lineart piece in 2004. Then I fleshed out the lineart with color in 2007. Now I've decided to digitally paint him from skratch using Photoshop CS3. I hope you enjoy the creature as much as I do. Again, thank you for viewing and your comments. P.S. Since the 1931 film was done in black & white I've taken some artisitic liberties in applying to the creature, which was created from different body parts of cadavers and surged to life by electrical stimulation, the colors of death. Ashen blue/green skin with a touch of pink to show he has some life. And the eyes I gave the color which I thought best shows they were abruptly awaken from the dead.

Wow, I like him. You have captured a sad and lonely look in his gaze. Beautifully done, it's an impressive portrait.
