Description

This is the Tudor manor house of Greys Court. There has been a building on this site since 1066 but this house was built by Sir Francis Knollys between 1559 and 1596. Sir Francis was treasurer for Elizabeth I and an important adviser. There's more information about this interesting place on their website HERE. ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph 6 Sep 2012

An intriguing capture, my friend. How some folk used to live. I like the Tudor period, but not the TV series. I must ask, though: considering the 'summer' just ended, how did you get the sunshine? ;o) Warm ( well actually quite chilly today about 4C ) regards, from Glasgow, John.
