Description

This is a shot of the oldest (wooden) rollercoaster in "Bakken", an Amusement Park in Denmark. "Bakken" means "The Hill" and it lies just in the edge of a beautiful forest with deers and other lovely creatures of its kind. A wonderful place to have a picnic in the summertime. Have a wonderful weekend. Today it has been a really rainy day. It is ok, because we havent had real rain for a long time. Only a little here and there, so we needed it. Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

Love the geometry in this photo. And nothing sounds as good as a wooden roller coaster. Did you take a ride?

These structures seem so complex; I'm not a rollercoaster afficionado, but the old wooden ones are favourites of many folks I know who love coasters. Beautiful capture!

I would love to stand there and listen to this thing talk to itself as the trains go around! The sound must be marvellous. Such an evocative photograph!

I would be standing next to Tara, listening to this thing talking to itself. Wooden rollercoasters have such a distinct sound, but I don't know their language. We have one near Chicago and it's exciting to see, but there are so many bigger ones that the old, wooden one is easy to miss. But it's like the grandfather to all of the other roller coasters. I love the wood textures and lines and patterns in this shot and black and white is perfect!
