This is some Medieval ceiling work in the Abbey. Zoom really does give it a bit more!!

Oh wow, the little 'buttons' have faces on them. I've always thought it strange that they did that sort of thing - especially looking down on you. This is beautiful handi-work and a very nice capture of it, Jeff!

Ah, a fine photo of a vaulted ceiling. These are fascinating structures. I went off googling vaulted ceilings and now have visions of all sorts of vaults in my mind's eye. Lots of examples in England.
