Once more a render from "I love Maria / Roboforce" from 1988, directed in Hongkong by Hark Tsui & David Sung. The movie must be regarded as a comedy action, the plot can't be called excactly genial, but Sally Yeh as the title character Maria in the unfolding story's, at times funny sillyness, binds the movie together with her character, played by charm, humor and develop slowly from machine into a person.
The movie "steals" from both Fritz Lang's "Metropolis", "Robocop" and even "Frankenstein" to mention some. Sally Yeh also plays the top gangster's crazy sister from who Maria is copied.
In the movie Maria appears in two versions - first as a black armored robot when "bad" and later more humanized, change into white armor. As bad robot she was ordered to kill a renegade alcoholic gangster, named Whisky. But a nerded police technician, called Curly (Yes, there are also links to "The three Stooges") reprogrammes Maria and she now aid them against the gangsters. The third "Stooge" is a very unfortunate and fumbling news photographer in a weird story with unlikely incidents, where all four at last save the day.
But I'm not sure the story would have worked without beautiful Sally Yeh's participation.
I have had this render in project in work for a while and finally come up with this solution.

WOOOOOOW, Johnny! This is one of your best works, yet, my friend! Awesome, fantastic, amazing, incredible.... Those just don't do it justice! You've obviously put a LOT of work into this! I'm not familiar with those stories - I'll have to check it out. This does have a great "Blade Runner" look to it. Wonderful work!
