I haven't heard that West Nile is a particular problem, but I'm not really paying attention. That said, this sure does look like some microscopic creature out to get you. Beautiful design and coloring. Very nice gnarly background.

re the title: looks like some people spend too much time on Renderosity to watch the news :) I picture the West Nile virus as a a dirty bug. The image is too beautiful. Ah what the heck I will still score it a 5.
