Description

Vue8Frontier/Photoshop Foreground ship is my Bryce7Pro model that was re-modelled by Andry Viyoni, with assistance from Roy Rudder and Brent Scione(fellow members of the animation group working on the movie I am involved in)...this is one of the hero ships.Textures are a combination of Vue procedurals and a texture from CGTextures. The other ships are a model I created entirely in Vue,with preset materials applied.Three procedural terrains create the landscape, with a preset desert material used.Sky is a modified "High Altitude" preset.Planet is a preset Saturn planet,a sphere textured in a modified cloud volumetric creates dust disturbance.Postwork in Photoshop consisted of addition of flames(CGTextures photo) and hand-painted smoke, engine glow effect, motion blur, ship name(designed and drawn by myself),signature and resizing. Thanks for viewing and any comments!

Oh wow, this is great! Love the exotic environment with the ringed gas giant in the background. Very effective use of motion blur on the wounded ship, and fine modeling and texturing. Lots of action here as well. Terrific work!!

Really like that ship and the effects you used with it. POV really adds to the interest and I love the ringed planet background and the terrain of the other planet.
