The Equinox has come this night
And soon the days will slowly wane
Til Winter has it's hold again.
Happy Equinox dear friends! Is it myth or fact...? Are the days of the equinox the only days you can balance an egg on end?

Oh the egg balance! How fitting for both the Autumnal Equinox and the start of Libra =) I don't know about anyone else, but I've only ever been able to do the balancing egg trick on the Equinox, either Spring or Autumn~ A heartwarming piece of prose to compliment this beautifully crafted scene, fantastic work, Ray!

Oh so cool! I'm gonna' try it. You should let us know a day ahead of time next year. LOL. But if it breaks you're coming over and cleaning it up. LOL! :) You know I'm kidding. Absolutely stupendous render for the subject! And you know what? I like when it gets dark early. Sounds goofy, I know, but night time is my free time so it seems like I have more of it. And now we transition into my favorite season! I love fall! And what an gorgeous work of art to celebrate the fall equinox! This is exquisite, Ray! Wonderful imagery and fall colors - love this! I don't know about the egg - I have yet to try that one (if I can sneak an egg out of the fridge without my wife asking me what I'm doing with that egg.... LOL).
