Description
in Romania, with lovely countryside and picturesque villages..but where the living often could be tough.
Many photos had to be taken from the minibus, with all the problems that brings, so I have done some PW to change the 'feel' and make them more interesting, I hope!

Like a painting on canvas, this lovely image is, Jean! Hard to imagine a scene like this when living in an urban area of the USA. And, I can't make the connection between Saxon and Romania.

Many centuries ago...5/6..the Germans established trading 'posts' in Romania. They built distinctive styles of houses, easily recognisable as we travelled around. I'll post some pix of them later.

Postcard perfect! I like the paper texture, which makes this image look more like a watercolor painting. Great work. I have yet to visit Romania, but it's on my list of places to visit, especially since I like that part of the world so much! That and I'm often in a neighborhood filled with Romanians.
