Description
The first of a series of eight starship designs for a project called "Galactic Gargantuans." This project is set of 2D images created using CorelDRAW X6 and Corel PHOTO-PAINT X6. After a decade of doing around 200 3D CGI projects resulting in over 1000 images, I am taking a break and having fun doing 2D color illustration. The design for Battleship Lythoria is inspired by the ships of the completely fan-created "Chronicles of Man" universe. While my design resembles those of that SF environment, it does not meet the full criteria for ships of that universe. I always seem to end up following my own artistic path! The actual image is almost 6900 pixels wide. I had to shrink it down quite a bit to fit the requirement of posting on Renderosity. Thus, viewers will note some smearing of pixels. The full size version will end up on my own hobby website.
