I like that expression. My girlfriend in High School had that look. Right befor she became my Ex-girlfriend!

She definately looks a little less than enthused :) On this one the highlights are a touch blown out both on the skin and in the background. Also, when shooting some subjects, getting down to waist level with the lens can be a touch more flattering and interesting. Just a few pointers.

She is very pretty indeed! I agree with jdehaven that the shot would have been better if taken from waist level, although a strong argument can be made for taking the shot from eye-level since that is the usual point of view, however one's eye and brain will resolve the POV distortion in reality whereas a lens cannot do the same in a photo. Your earlier wonderful shots of Cori do show the advantage of a lower shooting level. Please show more!
