Riley.....Dropped Karen off at work this morning, as I pulled out of the 'Bowl' carpark this drove past.It turned into the Fort Perch Rock carpark, as I had my camera I thought I'd try for a couple of snaps.....as cars aren't really my 'thing', beyond admireing nice ones, I'm sure someone can come up with a model...this wasn't a random visitor as it turned out. There were 9 of them, 6 of this model and 3 large Saloon versions, they'd met up here for a 'trip out' somewhere.Obviously well organised as a cannon was fired from the Fort at 11:00am to send them on their way.......

Good spot mate! Well, on checking deep in the files (otherwise known as Wiki!!!!), I came up with a match I hope.. I am 'sure' its a Riley RME, made from 1953 - 55.. If I'm wrong someone will correct me but its one of the RM clan for sure (there were a few!) lol Well taken, and handy you had the camera.. Glad you liked the shot yesterday.. Yes, I was a bit surprised no-one noticed me actually under the nose of that Spit! lol Rob

You don't see many of these about now for sure. I bet it's an "Experience" driving one now were so used to modern cars. Nice capture Neil - cheers.

Beautiful car shots.

Rob is right on the button it's a Riley RM series and this one is from 1953. These were a real cut above the norm in their day too, loved by bank managers and the like. Cool chance capture Neil, and i'd love one for sure :)

Oh, my! I at first thought a Rolls or a Bently. But I've never heard of, nor seen one of these. Must be all hand made, excellent old time British quality work. But only for the super elite (does that include prime ministers and members of parliament?). It has a distinctly 1930s air to it, though made in the 1950s. Keep up the good work! :-)

I'll throw in that this is an RMA 1 1/2 liter saloon from 1951. Glad you captured it...good looking!
