Description

Agathla peak is the remains of a volcano. The cone has eroded away, leaving the lava plug. Located seven miles North of Kayenta, AZ, on the way to Monument Valley. This was shot from about 20 miles to the West, along US 160, on the move at about 65 miles per hour, which accounts for the foreground blur.
