Looks like bad times have befallen the world. This is beautifully done Danielle and kind of a sad scene. Yet there is a bit of light there that now he has found a friend. Perhaps they will grow up and save the world from the darkness. Nice work with the playground set! Gosh, that little boy looks familiar ;)

Oh my! What changes will she make? A most intrigueing question and fun in anticipation! I suppose after all the 'big kids' broke down the equipment in JeanC's render, the playground fell into disrepair, just like the 'big kids' ruined the world. Just speculation on my part! Désolé pour mon retard ( j'étais en voyage....) .Superbe composition qui souligne non pas le drame mais la tragédie inhérente à notre civilisation ( à défaut de celles qui l'ont précédée). Nous sommes incapables d'accueillir nos enfants ,notre propre création. Le seul héritage que nous transmettons étant des jouets cassés par notre incapacité à dominer notre vie . " L'homme est un animal pensant" (sic) ....mais qui a oublié de penser et d'agir en même temps. Belle lumière (crépuscule ou aurore?????) blafarde comme frappée par l'atonie de notre impuissance.
