i would like to thank my dear friend Naomi/Lunchlady for sending me this new package with bg's lights and poses by her and Sveva called mystic steampunk.. killer stuff!!
i highly appreciate the comments and frienships i share with you all. thank you for the visit.
would like to share this odd thing that might be some sorta of scam. i being broke have put a few items on craigslist, the item in question is a curio cabinet i put up for sale. there were a couple of bullshit yes i'll take it things, but no back replies on them. i had one person that said he wanted it and would pay me and extra $40.00 if i held it for him until he got a check sent, i replied back saying it had to be a cash only thing. reply was the check will be a cerified check with the curio cabinet amount and additonal funds for some movers he was to send over. i was let him know when the check cleared in the bank to pay the movers and my part. i had asked him where he lived and he never would mention it. he said he needed my name, addy and phone. i gave that part to him. he said the check would be sent fed ex in a few days. i got this check today for $2,495.00, i was in disbelief. the envelope that had the check was mailed from uniontown pa. why would someone pay me 390 for a cabinet unseen? i thought this person lived in the city where i live. can't he find a cabinet locally? and since when does it cost two thousand plus dollars to ship something to pa? so i did not deposit this check i e-mailed him back saying he would have to pay the movers himself, and not my responsibility and also he would have to send me a money order for the cost of cabinet. i sent my message this morning and have heard nothing back..
what do you all think????

A really strange story. Just that it's actually real. Beautiful, this lady has at least no furniture. I particularly like their furnishings. That has brains ^ ^ Fabulous character and pose reminds me almost a little of Hamlet. Extravaganza, Steve!

I think its all been said steve it really is a low thing to do hope something good comes out of it maybe theyre being watched and its just a matter of time before they get caught here's hoping it would be sooner my friend excellent scene as always!!

Great render lil brother My jaw would of dropped that big to get a check for that much smart move.................... I bet you don't don't get a reply back either like me and Safelink its a free phone for people who get food stamps have medicade housing authority etc..free cell phone 250 minute free...I have been trying since June...........finally went and bought me a tracfone......had been 50 dollars on sale for 20dollars...........I got a deal........then today got the card suppposed to be filled out for Safelink.......may fill it out anyway and have 2 phones LOL......was getting ready to call the Rant line on our local television station and make a fuss...not really a fuss just gonna say I was disappointed in their service........can't now LOL...........son gone to Ashland Ky until Sat it is so lonesome here.........like that song.........I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry.... Hope your having luck with the job hunt........Friday I see the Dr so maybe no comments.........if i get up early I might.....but my appt is at 1 first person in after lunch and I like it like that..............he is on vacation first week in Oct and figures i get my meds the 6th hope he post dates them and gonna try to cut me down on my Xanax dont think I will be able to this month......mabye next month....... Another fantastic work of art, Steve! You have such a wonderful way of putting these together, my friend! Yeah, that check situation has more red flags then the gas company! I'd follow Art's advice, and have that check looked over VERY carefully.. It smells bad all the way here in Missouri... I've heard so many bad things about Craigslist....

just go to the bank and show them the check and tell them what going on. the same scan was tried on me. The bank told me it a scan and say they get a lot of them like this. the bank will turn it over to some people that looks into the scam. I turn in the email to the bank and they say thanks. oh those people had movers also. the bank will know for sure. what really tip me off was the address on the ups and i looked at the address on the check and they was differ address. May be the same people that try to scam me. now if the check be good it ok then. cool image here

beautiful image. THIS IS A SCAM: asking for your information but not giving you the same information. An excessive amount of money for a $40.00 cabinet. nothing like that should cost that much to move anywhere, You can ship a car to Europe for that much...! do a search through Google with the text of the email he sent you or look up Craigslist check scams and you will find it http://theunemployedmom.com/2011/07/08/craigslist-scam-exposed-bank-certified-check/ hope this helps just don't be so fast to reply to an offer I did a similar thing about renting an apartment gave my information then realized it was a scam... so it happens to a lot of people don't be embarrassed but you should take any copies of correspondence and the check to the bank so they can notify the proper authorities. And it doesn't hurt to let your friends and relatives know..people are always trying to figure out some way to get your hard earned money the easy way. Don't make it easy... hope this helps

First of all - WOW!!!! What an INCREDIBLE image!! Instant fave! Secondly - cash the check & keep the cabinet - lol! jk I don't know. It's so hard right now. I think everyone wants to believe that there are good people out there, but with the anonymity of the internet, it's only given people more of an opportunity to let their evil sides out. I mean, people do that kind of hunting for things on eBay, but not out of state on CraigsList. It sounds like he got ahold of someone's bank account information and drained it. Just so you know, we moved from Utah to Austin and rented a portion of a semi to transport an entire 3 bedroom house and it cost less than $2000. Unless the movers were sending the cabinet via FedEx, I can't imagine it costing that much in transport. I'd be wary...
