Description
Felt a wave of nostalgia today on youtube. I went back and looked at the old arcade version of some of my favorite games. Remembering the countless amount of quarters that I fed these machines. Sometimes I wish the arcade scene could come back.
Now I know the the controller layout isn't a match but that wasn't the point to this rendering. It was more about texturing than anything else. Sound off on your favorite arcade gaming growing up.

Ah, both games that got more quarters from me than is reasonable. I remember the day an arcade in town got MKII, the place was packed and there was a crowd about 15 deep just to watch. Anytime someone got a Fatality, there was a load roar throughout the building (a mall) from the cheering. When someone did a Friendship (not intentionally), everyone was very quiet.

did you made these on my arcade game set from DAZ ? they look really cool .. Pitty its not allowed to make them "original* for sale .. but these might make great freebee textures

I loved both games...Mortal Kombat was my first game ever :D then I found KI and fell in love with Orchid. The new KI on Xbox One isn't as great as the original 2 games, but it did come with an arcade port of the first KI, its all I cared for! Just reminded myself that I textured a KI2 arcade cabinet somewhere on my hd...I NEED to find it now!
