Description
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
~ Ozymandias, Percy Bysshe Shelley
Temple of Ramses, Abu Simbel, Egypt

Fantastic capture of a great set of statues. But I think the Egyptians did many monuments to their kings and forgot to do the most important. There were among them characters who provided the world with inventions that are true treasures and were never honored. Or have they already found the monument to the Egyptian who was the inventor of beer?

The time of Ramses was a fascinating period in time. The worship was intricate and difficult to understand, manners and daily life was measured carefully. Skills and intelligence at it's peak and yet, undeveloped. This statue is simply amazing. Your pov and composition as well. I know want to read up on Ozymandias.

Here you bring us a piece of real history. You can lose yourself in Egyptian history. To date, not all puzzles are solved. A great picture with a cool perspective of this monument!!
