Description
Set is a combination of things mostly from DM and from Merlin's "Armory" at DAZ. The pumpkin pie (above cauldron on table) is a freebie here from Mapps.
Conor's clothing is "Wolf Leathers" from Sixth Sense at RDNA. This is the default texture.
Set is lit with three point lights at the candles and hearth. I had to crank them wayyyyy down to get them to be the right brightness. I have grown to prefer working with point lights, especially with low-light outdoor and indoor scenes. They're much easier to control.

He strikes me as a noble or a clan Ri (king/chief). "One moment and I'll be with you clansman..." This is great on so many levels! He oozes character with that pose and expression, the composition is positively cinematic, and your've done a tremendous job on the lighting! I don't think I can actually say how much I like this piece. Outstanding job Ray!!

What a fantastic set and excellent work with the lighting! I find myself really, really fascinated by this work. First I want to confess that I do not know if I should know more about this character by the title. I Googled, but I couldn't find anything. That said, he doesn't strike me as a commoner, but he appears to be residing in a commoner's house. But as far as I know, this could be one room in a castle. And, beginning a second paragraph, LOL, he doesn't appear to be a man of upstanding character to me. He looks devious to me. Like he's plotting something. Maybe even like he's misplaced here, an elite who has fallen from grace. And to me? That is the essence of the brilliance of the work. Extremely well done!

He knows something........ I know he does! Just look at his expression - you know the wheels are turning. This really strikes me as a fellow who definitely has his act together, and knows just what to do. A great render, Ray, and I love the atmosphere and lighting. Superbly done! Point lights are great, aren't they? I could fool with the lighting endlessly.. You can get some interesting effects setting point lights to 'inverse square' on the attenuation drop-down.

Fantastic scene. You've given him a rich and organized clutter of a room. Very scholarly. Excellent lights. I always use point lights too. Spots for special effects only, usually. Like Rod says, he looks like he knows or is up to something. Great and mysterious character and excellent render.
