Description

Here's something that I want to further work on, mostly with the texture and reflection on the dog, and perhaps the lighting. US Military is actually developing a robotic dog for field work. This should be interesting. Cyber Dog Poser model can be found here. Yes, it's free! I know RMP has a couple more that are on my wishlist, and even in my cart. A little rant here: I am joining perhaps what amounts to an increasing number of ex-DAZ3D customer base. I guess with the fact that they are concentrated on their DAZ Studio products their Poser related stuff is decreasing, there is really no need to go to them for anything else other than perhaps a re-download of previously purchased products. No worries, as I have much that I see here at Renderosity and over at RDNA that I want to grab. Both sites are rocking with stuff that I want to buy. Sadly though, I am a bit overwhelmed, as I have a LOT of stuff that I haven't even messed with or put up. I mean, I could literally work on an image a day and not use the same items ever. Oh yeah, it's fun alright! ; ) On a side note, I've started more or less to build a new system. This one will incorporate an Fm1 processer and *hopefully* about 16GB of ram. Only thing is I guess I need to buy a new Windows 7 Disk. The memory is going to be a slight problem. The motherboard, which I found out is a mini-ATX is rated at 32 GB max memory, but they hardly sell that in 2 sticks of 16GB each. I wonder what kind of rendering power I would have with two computers rendering a scene? NEvermind....Poser 7 won't do that anyways....

I'm glad you got the brains to build your own computer - I can't even drag my own ass into the tutorial section - that's sad man - lol

Really cool work on this cyberdog! We may be closer to this than we think.... Check this out - a robot that can run 28 mph... I have 16G on my HP quad-core system, and it does make a difference. I'm running Win7 64 bit. Yeah, I know what you mean, bro.... I've got so much stuff in my runtimes, it's insane. And I must have more..... muahahaha! Ahem Looking forward to seeing how you develop this dog-bot!
