Description

The crew of a medieval grue are just about to the end of their long river journey. Their boat only has to drift around several more bends to reach the quay where they will dock and unload their cargo of precious spirits. I'm not sure what they are carrying--it's either a fine wine or a fabulous monestary ale. Once they are unloaded, they'll spend a couple of days frequenting as many inns and taverns as they can before their pay is mostly spent. Then will begin the back-breaking return upriver against the flowing water. Blade, their guard dog is quite excited and barking at every stanger he sees along the passing quays. While his buddies are carousing in the city, he'll stay on board and you can be sure that nobody is going to mess with his boat! I'm dedicating this one to a very loyal visitor of many years to my gallery. Thanks, Mondwin, for your interest and your many comments. And thanks--as always--to all of you who drop by for a peek. Jeremy CREDITS: Roland Creations "The Old Quay" (Renderosity), Boat: illkirche's "Grue" and Medieval costumes (ShareCG). Predation's "Lorenzo Lorez" figure and "LoREZ Dog" (DAZ). Wakes and rings are by spacebones (ShareCG). Other Medieval folk are Ed Baumgarten's Lo-poly "Medman" and "MedWom" figures (Baumgarten Enterprises).

My Dear friend you make me very happy. This picture is a nice representation of human life: the river as a paraphrases of human life, other characters remembering the hard work and miseries of people. Despite of the progress, I do not see today nothing different than that age. Thanks very much for a sooo beautiful gift. Bravissimo!!!!:DDD Big hugszz Whylma
