Not so twisted mate. They had invented an orb (steam powered) that spun around and took off the ground briefly and it was used as a party trick by the inventor (I can't remember his name). Just imagine if he had the vision to produce the locomotive from that initial idea? History would have been at their mercy ... even more so and for longer Radders!!
